Nellene Teubner - Plouffe is a writer who began her journalistic career as a Los Angeles Times contributor in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In 1995, she won first prize for columns from the California Newspaper Publishers Association.
The city's love of aviation has evolved since Wilbur and Orville Wright developed airplanes in their hometown of Dayton, Ohio, in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Together, the two cities account for more than a third of the country's total air traffic.
Themed rides include the annual Veterans Appreciation Ride in November, and the ride is free with proof of military service. The tour is scheduled to begin at 9: 30 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, at the Natural History Museum in Centerville. There is no admission, but information about where to go and where to view the timeline can be found on the Centerville Museum's Facebook page and website.
